My daughter-in-law brought my car in for an oil change because I have Covid. She said there was oil on the door and steering wheel when they gave her back my car. She went in to tell them and they gave her a coupon for free detail next time. This is not the first time I’ve been disappointed with Leroy Bob Johnson. My dad has used Bob Johnson forever and even was his golfing partner back in the day. I won’t be buying another car from your place

My service was excellent; however, the reason for the service was concerning. Apparently, a rodent had gotten into the engine compartment and chewed a couple of wires, which caused the check engine light to come on. This was the reason for the service. My concern is that this is 2025 Chevy pickup with less than 6,000 miles. The truck is parked in my driveway and any parking lot that I visit. This repair is not covered by warranty and could happen again through no fault of mine. An issue such as this must occur in other vehicles, especially pickups and should be addressed from an engineering standpoint given it is not covered under warranty.

We were experiencing transmission shuttering. We made an appointment through the app (that was about 2 wks out) to have the transmission looked at. The evening before the appt I received a call and was reprimanded for making the appointment through the app… I was told that there is only one tech that handles those problems and I should have called for this type of appt. I asked if this was not a good time to bring the car in? I was told that I was lucky they could work on the car… we dropped in off the by 8 am Thursday July 17th that evening I was called and told that a they just didn’t have a full diagnosis and could they keep the car another day.. the next day we received a call to say the transmission needed a flush and the car also needed front brakes and left and right toe links. After back and forth with the service mgr talking to the tech about the transmission flush ( because we told them it had already been flushed ) we were told that the codes stated that is what we need… feeling like we were between a rock and a hard spot we agreed to have the flush done… I can’t tell you how upset I was that the call back that we received was mostly about the other work that had to be done rather than what it was in there for and we that were charged $189.99 diagnostic fee specifically for the transmission not brakes and toe links….as expected the flush did absolutely nothing actually at times it seemed worse… after putting the recommended miles on the car I called back around August 4th to make another appointment for the transmission the appt was made for August 12th… once again the car was dropped at 8am and that evening I got a call that they didn’t have a full diagnosis and could the car stay another day… on the 13th we were called and told it needs a new transmission. By Friday August 15th they had approval from the warranty company to go ahead with the transmission replacement… we got the car back Sept 10th. We had a lively discussion with the service folks about the fact that we feel that the problem was miss diagnosed in July it should have been diagnosed then that it needed a new transmission… and financially because of this diagnosis it cost us $500 for this error rather than $100. During the discussion it came up that apparently this is a known problem with the 2020 traverse. We finally agreed to a waive of the $108 deductible free and a free oil change… which was suppose to be equal the diagnostic fee however I am not happy with this whole transaction and feel that we were taken advantage of… and we are out $400 that we shouldn’t have been charged…

To whom it may concern , I would like to bring some things to your attention , well the service advisor was super nice and trying to help me out I don’t blame her at all , some of the processes are poor , I have brought my truck in twice for the same check engine light code po6dd which indicates a potentially serious issue with the oil pump . I was told could not diagnose and to come back when the light is on again , this is ridiculous and should be corrected . I have a 5 year old truck with 60k miles on it that I’m afraid to drive because of this . I have spent almost 5k in the last two years with dealership trying to keep it up kept, and have an extended warranty. To keep sending me on my way with no plan or resolution is not the right way to do business . I feel this should be a proactive thing and not reactive as this can cause serious harm to my truck and worse to me family potentially sitting in truck driving Again not blaming service advisor she has things she needs to follow , but on a pure business and being a loyal customer to the dealer I find this unacceptable

I had a horrible experience with the service dept. and with Heather Grainy, at the dealership in Leroy. My 2025 Equinox with less than 5,000 miles would not start and was towed to the dealership. Heather told me it would be a couple days before they could take care of the car, but it took 8 days for them to run diagnostics, find out I had a defective battery, and simply change the battery, which they already had in stock. I didn't get the car back until I contacted Doug Curry, the salesman who leased me the car. He said he would find out what was going on with my car, and within an hour it was miraculously ready to be picked up. What a terribly inefficient way to run a service department. I also believe that for some reason, Heather purposely made the servicing of my car take longer than it should have because she knew I was in a hurry to get it back. I had told her I had recently had knee surgery and needed to get to a doctor appoint to have my incision checked. I had to reschedule the appointment 2 times because I didn't have transportation to get there. I do want to thank Doug Curry for helping expedite the return of my car.

Scheduled my appointment for 9am on 11/15. Dealership called the next day to move appointment up to 830. Not a big deal because I had told the original person to make the appointment that I was bringing it the night before. My oil change was still not done until 1015. Picked up my car- he told me it was $80.94 - I gave him my card & he ran it and I left. It wasn’t until I got home and reading the paperwork there were 2 different prices. I checked my credit card company and I had been charged $83.36. I called Bernard and he apologized that he had not told me that it would be more with a credit card. The ironic part to this is that there is a sign right by the main door that you walk thru to get to the service area that clearly states that cash is not accepted - contactless payment only. Because Bob Johnson does not want to take the time to supply a cash drawer I am having a hard time accepting that I have to pay the 3% that most reputable dealers would absorb - its part of the cost of doing business. Had I been told that I would be paying 3% if I used a credit card I would have paid cash. I returned to the dealership- Bernard refunded my credit card and ran my debit VISA card - which is currently processing through my bank @ $80.94. I wasted way too much time for just an oil change - if a dealership of your size is not willing to absorb this fee then you have to wonder how you expect the private citizen to suck up these expense’s. I am CONFIDENT that I can find a dealership out there that does not pass this inconvenience on to its customers. Visa/Mastercard fees have always been around so this is not a new fee that just popped up. Honesty counts for a lot and your dealership has not been honest.

Every time I go in for a specific service, I am asked and questioned about many others. I feel taken advantage of. For example, I bought and had this dealership put on two tires in July. At my recent appt, they suggested FOUR NEW tires. I argued that I just had two tires put on HERE. Then they said for $10, to rotate them to the front. I shared that they were the ones who put them on my car in July. Why didn't they put them on the front then? I walk away with a larger bill than I expected.every.time.

The young gentleman that was at the service desk, Nicholas Dutt, needs to take lessons on dealing with customers, who have been waiting for a long time. He should at least speak to the people in the waiting area to reassure them that they are working on their vehicle or say he is sorry for the wait, that the service area is busy. He could also wear a smile. I think the way you have service set up, meaning you book an appointment and have to wait 2 hours, needs to be changed. Otherwise they took care of the problem great. Be aware if your windsheild wiper blade(s) are not clearing properly when you drive away from the dealer brand new that you must retrun almost immediately for replacement or you are out of luck! I returned when I had 5000 miles for oil change and tire rotation and was told that I was not able to get a replacement blade even though it was bad from day one! The blade costs is $27!!! I had purchased two new vehicles for a total of ~ $90k and got no blade! Just so you know. Otherwise the service was fine. But 10 miles down the road the low tire warning came on and when I returned to get it checked the problem was diagnosed as a tire learning failure. Was relearned and so far no problem.

Once again, they did not have the part to fix the recall. Luckily for me, I forced the issue on my front collision light on my dashboard being on. I was told that it was probably due to my camera being blocked by dirt and I said that I cleaned my truck and the light was still on. I pushed the issue when I dropped the truck off and luckily, I did because the front camera is not working. I also complained of a leak in the door seal on the driver's side. They stated that they took the truck out and couldn't hear anything. I drove the truck and the noise is still there. I pulled in on the window door frame and the noise is gone. I am not impressed with the service department at all. I was trying to keep the maintenance being done at the dealership because I wanted to have one place that worked on the truck. I am starting to second guess myself.

I had to call multiple times to get an update on my vehicle. I was told to call GM for a loaner, that was time consuming and terrible. Then I was offered a vehicle from the dealer but I could only use it for 200 miles, my truck was fixed yet they wanted to keep it another day to “drive” it. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated and will not be back.

The people are very nice but their process is disorganized and their financing practice is deceptive. Disorganization: I was asked the same questions multiple times, we would get different answers as to what was required (I.e. copy of registration), we were told they wanted us to take delivery before the end of the month and then it was no let’s wait to next week. Maybe because they didn’t start the financing process until I followed up to see if they were going to get that started. Despite having an extra week to be prepared, accessories for the car were not ready at delivery. They also told us those accessories would be delivered to our house but they went to the dealership. Which was ok because they forgot to have me sign paperwork at delivery so they had to send someone out for me to sign that. Financing process - I was told my rate would be 6.85% but when I said I would go to my bank that had a better rate, suddenly they could get me 4.25%. This practice feels deceptive as some people would just take the 6.85% when the dealership could do better for its customers.

I recently took my truck in for a heated steering wheel recall, and to have them install Tow mirrors. Several hours into my first visit they let me know they didn’t order the harnesses for my Tom ears so they couldn’t install them properly. They told me I’d have to come back the following week to install the harnesses while driving home I realized my heated steering wheel that was just installed didn’t work as well as now my cruise control didn’t work. I let them know and they said they’d look at it the following week upon my next visit several hours in they let me know that they ordered the wrong harnesses for my two ears and will not be able to install them properly. They also let me know they ordered the wrong steering wheel so I’d have to come back a third time wasting my time and gas three weeks in a row to do a job that was supposed to take one day very dissatisfied
